You can also install directly from the GitHub Releases page.

  2. Download the .apk file
  3. Open the downloaded file to install
  4. If prompted, allow installation from unknown sources for your browser

Development builds are published automatically after each change to the main branch. These are pre-release builds tagged as dev-latest and include the latest features and fixes.

Download the latest dev build from the dev-latest release.

When you first open SendSpin Player:

  1. Notification Permission — On Android 13+, the app will ask permission to show notifications. This is needed for playback controls in the notification shade and on the lock screen. Granting this is recommended.

  2. Server List — You’ll see the server list screen. If you’re on the same network as a SendSpin or Music Assistant server, it may appear automatically under “Nearby Servers” via mDNS discovery.

  3. Add a Server — Tap the + button to open the Add Server wizard and configure your first connection.
